What’s Happening
Paul instructs Titus to teach sound doctrine that expresses itself differently across age groups and roles. He emphasizes character, discipline, and integrity. The theological heart of the chapter is the appearing of God’s grace and the future appearing of Christ.

“For the grace of God has appeared…”
Grace is not permission to drift. Grace is power to live transformed.
Jesus is: • The grace that has appeared • The Savior bringing redemption • The purifier of a people for Himself • Our blessed hope • Our great God and Savior
This chapter clearly affirms Christ’s divinity and return.
Titus 2
Verse 1
Speak what fits with truth made sound,
Let steady lives in grace be found.
Older men, be firm and wise,
Sober-minded before all eyes.
Older women, reverent and kind,
Teaching younger hearts to bind
Love to husband, love to child,
Pure and self-controlled and mild.
Pre-Chorus
Let no one look and say untrue
That faith in Christ makes life askew.
Chorus
For the grace of God has appeared,
Bringing salvation drawing near.
Training hearts to turn from sin,
To live uprightly deep within.
In this present age we stand,
Awaiting hope by His command —
The blessed appearing, shining bright,
Of our great God in glory’s light.
Verse 2
Young men, steady, disciplined,
Show your faith in what you live.
Titus, be a model clear,
With speech that none can sneer.
Servants, serve with faithful tone,
Not just when watched, but as His own.
Adorn the doctrine, let it shine,
In daily work, in daily time.
Bridge
He gave Himself to make us clean,
Redeem a people set between
This broken age and coming day —
Zealous for good in every way.
Final Chorus
Grace has appeared — not weak, not small,
It trains the heart, it shapes us all.
Till Christ returns in radiant flame,
We live to magnify His name.
Saved by mercy, shaped by light —
Waiting for the King in white.
