Revelation 22

What Happens

Revelation 22 completes the vision of the new creation.

1️⃣ The River of LifeFlowing from God’s throne.

2️⃣ The Tree of Life restoredBearing fruit each month, healing the nations.

3️⃣ God’s servants seeing His faceThe ultimate restoration of relationship.

4️⃣ No more curseSin’s effects are gone forever.

5️⃣ Jesus’ final promise“Surely I am coming soon.”

The book ends with the church’s response:

“Come, Lord Jesus.”

What It Means

Revelation 22 shows the complete restoration of God’s original design.

Genesis began with:
• the tree of life
• a river
• God walking with humanity.

Revelation ends with those same elements restored — but now permanently secure.

The entire Bible forms one story:
Creation → Fall → Redemption → Restoration.

Why It Matters Today

Revelation 22 reminds us:

  • God’s promises are trustworthy
• Eternity with God is real
• Salvation remains an open invitation
• Christ’s return is certain

The Spirit and the bride still say:

“Come.”

Christ Anchor

Revelation 22 reveals Christ as:

  • The root and offspring of David
• The bright morning star
• The giver of living water
• The One who is coming soon

Jesus closes the Bible with a promise.

And the church answers with hope.

🎵 Revelation 22 — “Come, Lord Jesus”

(Majestic Pines — Hybrid | Songer Safe)

Verse 1

A river clear as crystal flows,

From God’s bright throne where mercy grows.

Through heaven’s street of shining gold,

Life eternal now unfolds.

The tree of life stands strong and wide,

Twelve fruits blooming every side.

Leaves that heal the nations’ pain,

Eden’s promise lives again.

Pre-Chorus

No more curse, no shadow falls —

God Himself within these walls.

Chorus

Come, Lord Jesus, we proclaim,

Every heart awaits Your name.

Light forever fills the land —

Life restored by wounded hands.

Verse 2

No night remains, no lamp or sun,

The Lord Himself our only One.

His servants see His face at last,

Every broken sorrow past.

His name upon their foreheads bright,

They reign with Him in endless light.

Chorus

Come, Lord Jesus, faithful King,

Let the earth Your glory sing.

Those who thirst may freely come —

Drink the water flowing home.

Bridge

“Do not seal these words,” He said,

“Time is near, the path ahead.

Let the righteous still pursue,

Let the faithful walk in truth.”

“Soon I come with justice sure,

Every heart to answer for.”

Final Chorus

Come, Lord Jesus, we await,

Standing at redemption’s gate.

Blessed are the ones who hear —

For the King Himself is near.

Outro

The Spirit calls.

The Bride says come.

The final word —

Lord Jesus, come.
