What Happens
John is shown a vision of:
- A woman called Babylon the Great• Sitting on a scarlet beast
• Dressed in luxury and wealth

The beast has:

• Ten horns

a system that draws nations away from God.
The beast represents political power supporting that system.
But the alliance is temporary.
God ultimately turns these powers against Babylon itself.

- Corrupt systems can appear beautiful and powerful
• Political and economic powers can unite against truth
• Persecution of believers is not new
• World systems built on deception eventually collapse
