Justice comes, the truth unmasks
The vineyard given, the tenants fall
The stone rejected outshines all
The builders toss what God has crowned

They send their spies with flattery sweet
Caesar’s coin at Jesus’ feet
“Is it lawful?” the question pressed
Truth sharpened in a test confessed
He lifts the coin, the image clear
“Give Caesar what is Caesar’s here
Give God what bears His image true”
They stand amazed — no words to pursue
Verse 4 — Life Beyond the Grave
The Sadducees scoff, deny the rise
A tale of marriage to test His reply
Jesus answers with heaven’s view
Not bound by death, but made anew
God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob’s name
Not of the dead — the living claim
The promise stands beyond the dust
Resurrection born of trust

A scribe steps close, the question plain
“Which command stands highest, gains?”
Jesus answers, rooted deep
“Hear, O Israel,” the call to keep
Love the Lord with heart and mind
Strength and soul and all combined
Love your neighbor as your own

“How can the Christ be David’s heir
