God continues with a vivid description of Leviathan, a fearsome sea creature beyond human control. Its scales, strength, and fiery breath imagery reveal a terrifying, majestic beast. No weapon can penetrate it. Humans cannot tame or subdue it—but God can. Leviathan symbolizes chaos, danger, and forces far beyond human strength. This chapter teaches God’s supremacy over all creation and reveals that even the most fearsome powers are subject to Him. It also humbles Job: if he cannot face Leviathan, how could he question God?
