This chapter stands out as a poetic masterpiece. Job describes how humans search the depths of the earth for precious metals and gems, using great effort to uncover hidden treasures. But no one can find wisdom in the natural world. It cannot be bought or mined. Only God knows its place because He alone sees all things—every gust of wind, every drop of rain, every path of lightning. God declared that true wisdom is: “The fear of the Lord… and to turn away from evil.”This chapter teaches that wisdom does not come from human intelligence but from reverence for God. It foreshadows Christ, who embodies God’s wisdom in perfect fullness.
