Isaiah 56 Teaching Notes / Biblical Summary

God calls His people to uphold justice and righteousness, declaring that salvation is near. The covenant is opened wide to include foreigners and the marginalized who honor the Lord. God’s house is described as a place of prayer for all nations.

At the same time, Israel’s leaders are rebuked for spiritual blindness and self-indulgence. God contrasts faithful worship with negligent leadership.
