A global vision of judgment unfolds. The earth itself suffers due to human sin. Despite devastation, a remnant lifts praise to God, acknowledging His righteousness.

Christ will restore creation after judgment, establishing righteousness and peace across the earth.

Verse 1

The earth is emptied, stripped and bare,

All ranks the same, none spared by care.

The proud, the poor, the bought, the sold—

No shield of silver, none of gold.

The land lies broken, joy runs dry,

The noise of gladness passes by.

What sin has sown now shows its cost,

The world undone, its order lost.
