In Egypt, Joseph serves faithfully in Potiphar’s house, and the Lord causes everything he touches to prosper. When Potiphar’s wife attempts to seduce him, Joseph refuses, saying, “How could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?” Falsely accused, he is thrown into prison, yet “the Lord was with Joseph.” This chapter teaches that true integrity honors God even when it leads to suffering. God’s favor is not the absence of trials but His presence within them. Joseph’s life becomes a powerful testimony that faithfulness in secret brings blessing in due time.
