Genesis 2 focuses on God’s personal care in forming man and woman. God shapes Adam from the dust and breathes life into him, placing him in the Garden of Eden to work and guard it. From Adam’s side, God creates Eve as his companion and equal partner. Their relationship reflects harmony, innocence, and unity before sin enters the world. God gives them freedom within His boundaries, teaching that obedience sustains peace and intimacy with Him. The chapter ends with the picture of perfect fellowship between God, humanity, and creation—a glimpse of how life was meant to be lived under divine blessing.
