God commands Moses to carve new tablets, rewriting the covenant words. He reveals His name: “The Lord, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.” Moses’ face shines after meeting with God, reflecting divine glory. This chapter proclaims the heart of God’s character—merciful, just, and faithful. It teaches that even after failure, restoration is possible through repentance. When we behold God’s glory, we are transformed to reflect His likeness in humility and obedience.
