In the wilderness, the people grumble for food, and God provides manna each morning and quail in the evening. He instructs them to gather only what they need, teaching trust in His daily provision. The Sabbath rest is also introduced as a sacred rhythm of dependence. This chapter reveals that God’s grace feeds both body and soul. He provides not through abundance stored up, but through faith renewed daily. The manna reminds us that God’s word is our true sustenance and that contentment grows through trust, not complaint.
