Pharaoh pursues Israel, trapping them between the sea and his army. Fear grips the people, but Moses declares, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” God parts the waters, allowing Israel to cross on dry ground, and then destroys Pharaoh’s forces as the sea returns.
