God sends locusts to consume what remains of Egypt’s crops, and then a thick darkness covers the land for three days. Pharaoh’s officials urge him to surrender, but pride blinds him. He bargains and refuses full obedience, demanding control over what belongs to God. Moses warns that one final plague will come. This chapter reveals how pride darkens the human heart and how judgment intensifies when mercy is rejected. Yet even as God hardens Pharaoh’s heart, He is proving that no force can withstand His will or hinder His deliverance.
