EPHESIANS 3 — The Mystery Revealed

🌲 Chapter Anchor

God’s secret plan was not exclusion.
It was inclusion.

📖 What Happens in This Chapter

  • The “mystery” is revealed: Gentiles are co-heirs in Christ.
• Paul explains his calling to preach this grace.
• The church displays God’s wisdom to heavenly realms.
• Believers have bold access to God.
• Paul prays that we would grasp the depth of Christ’s love.

✝️ Christ Connection

Christ fulfills the promise to bless all nations.
Through Him we approach the Father without fear.
His love is wider, longer, higher, deeper than we comprehend.

🌾 Why This Matters Today

You are not barely included.
You are fully adopted.
And God uses ordinary believers to display extraordinary wisdom.

Ephesians 3 — The Mystery Revealed

📖 Song Lyrics

For this I bow my knees in chains,

A prisoner bound, yet Heaven reigns.

Not held by Rome nor earthly scheme —

But servant of a greater dream.

The mystery hidden through the years,

Now spoken plain for all to hear:

That Gentile hearts and Jewish line

Are joined in Christ by grace divine.

Chorus

The mystery’s revealed in Him —

One body formed, no outsider in.

Co-heirs of promise, called by name,

Through Jesus Christ the same.

What once was veiled is shining bright —

God’s wisdom displayed in church’s light.

To me, the least, this grace was shown,

To preach the riches once unknown —

Unsearchable, beyond all measure,

Christ our glory, Christ our treasure.

Through Him the manifold display

Of wisdom shines in bright array.

Even powers in realms unseen

Now witness what His grace has been.

Verse

According to eternal plan,

Fulfilled through Christ before time began.

In Him we have bold access near,

Approaching God without our fear.

So do not lose your heart for me,

These trials serve eternity.

The suffering path I now endure

Makes gospel glory even more sure.

Bridge — Paul’s Prayer

For this I kneel before the throne,

From whom all fatherhood is known.

Strengthen hearts through Spirit’s might,

Rooted deep in love’s true height.

May Christ dwell richly in your soul,

Faith anchoring you whole.

That you may grasp with saints abroad

The width and length and love of God —

The depth, the height beyond all sight,

A love surpassing human might.

Filled with fullness, vast and free,

Overflowing divinity.

Final Doxology

Now unto Him who far exceeds

All we ask or think in needs —

According to His power inside,

In church and Christ be glorified.

From age to age, through endless flame —

Forever glory to His name.
