Moses urges Israel to listen carefully to God’s commands and to remember everything God has done. He reminds them of the fire of Sinai, the voice they heard, and the dangers of idolatry. Israel was chosen to know God intimately and must guard that privilege diligently. Moses warns that turning to idols will bring exile, yet God will show mercy if they seek Him wholeheartedly. This chapter teaches that obedience is rooted in remembering God’s faithfulness and recognizing His unmatched holiness.
Christ-Foreshadowing: Jesus reveals God fully and calls His followers to worship in spirit and truth, free from idols.
