After the warnings, God offers hope: if Israel returns to Him, He will restore them with compassion. The command is not distant but near — on their lips and in their heart. Moses sets before them life and death, blessing and curse, urging them to choose life. This chapter teaches that God always invites His people to repentance and life.
Christ-Foreshadowing: Christ is the Life set before all, and believing in Him fulfills the call to “choose life.”
