1 Chronicles 28

David gathers all leaders and publicly commissions Solomon to build the temple. He shares God’s instructions, emphasizes wholehearted obedience, and gives Solomon detailed plans for every part of the temple—plans received from the Lord Himself. David encourages Solomon to be strong and courageous because God will not forsake him.

Christ-Foreshadowing: Solomon receiving the temple blueprints foreshadows Christ building God’s ultimate temple—the Church—according to God’s perfect design.
