Elisha performs four miracles revealing God’s compassion. He multiplies oil for a widow so she can pay her debts and save her sons. He promises a child to the hospitable Shunammite woman and later raises her son from the dead. He purifies poisoned stew for the prophets and multiplies twenty barley loaves to feed a hundred men with leftovers. God shows He cares for needs large and small, personal and communal.
Christ-Foreshadowing: Elisha’s miracles of provision, healing, and resurrection prefigure Christ’s ministry—raising the dead, multiplying bread, and caring for the hurting
