Balak, king of Moab, hires Balaam to curse Israel. On his journey, Balaam’s donkey sees the angel of the Lord and speaks, revealing God’s control over every voice. Balaam can only bless Israel, declaring, “How can I curse whom God has not cursed?” This chapter reveals that God’s purpose to bless His people cannot be overturned by human schemes or spiritual opposition.
