God calls Israel to practice justice impartially, reject bribery, and show kindness even to their enemies. He also establishes the Sabbath year and three annual festivals to celebrate His provision. God promises to send His angel ahead to guard and guide them into the promised land. This chapter reveals that God values both righteous judgment and joyful worship. Justice and celebration are both acts of obedience. The rhythms of rest and remembrance remind believers that holiness includes fairness, gratitude, and trust in God’s constant care.
