A vast coalition army threatens Judah, and Jehoshaphat seeks God through prayer and fasting. The Spirit speaks through Jahaziel, promising that the battle belongs to the Lord. Judah’s army marches out with singers leading in praise, and God causes the enemy coalition to destroy itself. Judah gathers abundant plunder and returns with joy, and peace follows.
